#5 Master of the Rebrand

It is amazing to me how many companies want a consultation on rebranding their image. Inevitably the first thing they want to talk about is developing a new logo. As if a new logo is going to solve their company’s problems. A rebrand is much more than that. A successful rebranding campaign will require you to rethink your messages, your goals, and perhaps even your target market, just to name a few. Our philosophy is that it starts with recognizing the gaps between you and your target market. What opportunities are you missing? How can you better connect with you audience?

If done correctly, a rebrand can make your company even stronger than it was before. It is important to recognize that your brand should be treated as a living thing, as it should constantly evolve. So, what would cause a company to want to rebrand itself? To stay relevant in today’s society, a rebrand may be just the thing your company needs. Or, another reason for a rebrand may be to regain your foothold in the market you are in.

Here number 5 in our Top 5 picks for best company rebrands:

#5: Burberry- Burberry is most recognized by its trademark tan, red, and black check pattern. The company’s roots are from England and the once preppy brand seemed to evolve and garner a reputation for appealing to gangwear. The buzz was so prevalent that a popular pub in England banned anyone from darkening the doors who was bearing the Burberry brand. The company launched a new product design and sought celebrities like Kate Moss and Emma Watson for its campaign. Today, Burberry’s sales are on the rise and it is considered one of the hottest fashion labels on the market.
